How different would the world be if Germany had won the war?
I imagine the Soviet Union would have likely fallen into civil war soon after its capitulation to Axis forces. Most likely this would have been encouraged by Germany with planted spies and dissidents. From there I would imagine the USSR balkanizing within a decade or two after WWII as opposed to the early 90s in our timeline.
With French and British capitulation, this opens the door for a new middle east. The areas formerly known as Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Transjordan, Iraq, and Kuwait all merge into one Greater Syrian Kingdom that spans across the fertile crescent. Its plentiful oilfields would have ensured that it would have had a strong economy, as well as a powerful military funded by said oil money. This - coupled with a lack of a state of Israel, and no US meddling in mid-east affairs - will ensure a dramatically more stable region that what we see today. In this alternate world, the Middle East could potentially be on equal terms with Europe or China. I imagine that farther into the future this would have led to increased tensions with Europe. Native Muslims in German and Italian-occupied colonies in North Africa will become restless, and will want to rejoin the Muslim sphere of influence.
With the loss of Europe, the only thing the Allied Forces had going for them was the Pacific Theater. However, given the huge loss of American life in Europe, as well as the likelihood of an enormously drawn-out quagmire in the event of a mainland invasion of Japan, I predict that anti-war sentiment will have reached a boiling point by 1945 or 46. The republican party would capitalize on this by running Ohio senator Robert Taft to run for office on a platform of a strongly non-interventionist foreign policy, as well as a scaling back of many of FDR's socialist-friendly New Deal programs.
This would eventually have left the remaining Allied Forces (UK, Ireland, Iceland, Cyprus, and the USSR) to fend for themselves over in Europe. Of course, with the destabilization of the Soviet Union, the loss of its overseas empires and former continental allies, and finally the lack of any competitive manpower or military might will all put pressure on the remaining Allies to either remain Neutral or begin to normalize relations with the Third Reich.

>>2138Why is serbia small and why does Bulgaria have macedonia and why is caucus so big.
Also why should Italy have ethnically Croatian land?
I see nothing wrong with Greater Syria, but I also feel Slovakia should be free and Bohemia and Moravia should be a puppet state as well.
