Well of course there are more causes. The persecution of Germans in the territory Germany had to give to Poland as part of the reparations for WWI played a major part though. While the consequences of WWI were not the only things that drove Europe into WWII, they definitely helped set the groundwork for it.

>Why not just turn the other cheek?
It was a different time, they were a very proud people.
>Was it really necessary to get their ass kicked again in the second world war?
Germany had practically won the war before American, who mind you did not want to go to war again, was roped in by the Churchill and Roosevelt through a multiple pushes in legislation to fund the war, and later join into it by playing victim with Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. It's hard for me to come to grips with, as someone who is American born, the fact that the attack was not a surprise attack, and that we had provoked the Japanese by shorting their economy during their war on mainland China, this is while Hong Kong was a Crown colony. You have to understand that at the time, the territories held by the British and French made up Canada, India, Vietnam and an overwhelming majority of Africa. The British alone ruled over around 450 million people. If Germany had been allowed to defeat both the British and French, the world would look in no way the same. This being said, in 1940, the British ignored multiple please for peace after the armstice with the French.

How ignorant of history are you, really?
Hitler actually tried to make the Jews leave to relocate into Palestine, with the Transfer Agreement signed in 1933 which would relocate German Jews into established communities in Palestine. (A good amount refused.) If you can't get your head around the fact that propaganda was the greatest tool to be used in the 19th century, and you want to believe in stories of human skin lamp shades and kosher soap bars, then you are delusional.
But too bad nobody cares because this is a small board on the backside of 8chan :'^]
