That's a very difficult thing to do as they've been conditioned since a very early age. To them, Nazi = evil as the sky = blue.

What I usually do is start talking about the bad economy and "the 1%", etc, which most people relate to…then mention that the "those in charge" (the man, etc) lie about the numbers.

Then, naturally, the banks, media, blah blah blah, are all controlled by a small group (this is important) of Jews.

Jews control the world economy, Nazi Germany was the last stand against it, they've been labelled as "evil" ever since.

Be as subtle as possible, but frank. Don't speak at them, speak with them…you must make it seem as a given that you are both on the same side, against the common enemy.

Something like that.

No problem. I've only done this a few times, but it seems to work pretty well. I guess it really comes down to the way you portray your attitude towards the matter. When in doubt, throw in a healthy dose of nihilism. Detach yourself from the issue - don't make yourself seem too invested in it. People are, understandably, allergic to that.

^ This is a very relatable type of statement, as they imagine -themselves- reading things, and imagine -themselves- being scared, if only for a split second. Also, it puts you "under the issue", so to speak - detachment, as I said before.

About a month ago me and a friend of mine were riding the bus home from school, which takes about 35 minutes. I figured, what the hell. He never really understood how I could like Hitler because he believed in the holocaust and that the war was started because Hitler was some evil dictator.

I just went for it, since he had no where to go. I talked the full ride home about what started the war, the holocaust etc. He said he believed me, but I think he's still on the edge. At least I got him to doubt the original story.

Don't; it discredits our ideology.

Admit that it happened and it was horrible. But so was slavery (or the Native American genocide); that doesn't make democracy evil. The inquisition was pretty terrible too, but is the crucifix a symbol of hate? No. Ideologies do terrible things, we improve and move on.

But also say that 70 years later we are still talking about it and Germans still feel guilty about it, and are still paying reparation payments. We have moved on from other genocides, such as those carried out by the Ottoman Empire. It's time to move on from the Holocaust, as terrible as it was. Today's generations of Germans do not need to be burdened by this guilt any longer. And at this point, it does begin to look like that "certain people" are unfairly taking advantage of the Holocaust for personal gain and that in itself is terrible.

The above arguments and this mentioned at >>2124 are good. It will make sure that people listening to such arguments aren't immediately denoucing you as a "anti-semitic," and people will see the rational arguments you are making. These arguments compare the double standards many people have about genocides in relation to ideologies, and since you aren't inflaming people's very sensitive emotions by denying the Holocaust, you will have people's ears.

Take the hit, say the Holocaust happened and it was terrible. Work on it from there, since no one wants to argue with, much less agree with a "holocaust denier."

You have the number of Jews to be evacuated to the east and that number of Jews ostensibly vanish.

Who cares if they were gassed? It could very have well been propaganda, still doesn't excuse the number of Jews that died.

The Jews were transported to the east, with the understanding that there would be significant losses to hard-labor, disease and summary execution.

Are you going to justify the mistreatment of the Jews or claim they're really alright and it was all a hoax?

If you hate them, why deny murdering them? If you don't hate them, why did you choose an antisemitic doctrine?

I come from a family of early Nazi enthusiasts. All of them supported abject treatment of the Jews.

This is something that many holocaust promoters have serious trouble to deal with. "Who cares about the details, killing is always horrible." As if details don't matter.

David Cole (the notorious Jewish revisionist) was in Montel Williams show back in the days. In the show was also a man who said that his brother was killed by the nazis. One guy in NY happened to watch the show and thought that the man looked quite similar to the person who just moved downstairs. He suggested the person to turn TV on.

So it was revealed later that the man's brother was alive in NY. Apparently Soviets had just blunty told them both that their sibling is dead.

Like David points out: what are the odds? The one man who came to the show, just happens to prove David's point.
How many of these reunions could have happened if there wouldn't be such stubborness regarding Holocaust?
