Blocking porn on campus actually makes sense.
Because it's a campus. The Wifi there is to be seen as a tool to assit with your studies, not for leisure.
Even if we were talking about public Wifi in some leisure space, it's still public space and it makes as much sense as watching porn on the library computers.
This was all that idiot actually had to say about this, "we are blocking porn because, while in campus, students should focus on their studies and not on their dicks". That's all he had to say.
And instead he made it about women. We-fucking-W.
As if the students don't have net back home, can see and download as much porn as they want or like this can even block Hongfire and similar places.
As if this does anything but put pussy in an even higher pedestal.
This is just a PR stunt, trying to look progressive. Like all SJW ideas, it achieves nothing, it solves nobody's problems but looks good on the papers.
Not only are they forgetting women watch porn too, gay people do so as well and campus wifi isn't the main source of porn for most people anyway.
I don't condone blocking porn in campus, I condone making it all about women and pretending that this is such an advancement for society.
