Please document the paranoia of the /pol/ moderation staff. When the board eventually dies this will be a piece of 8chan history that will need to be documented.

If the hotpocketter squad and /pol/harbor couldn't kill /pol/ a few mods have absolutely no chance in hell for the paranoia of halfchan mods is something far greater than anything they have.

I don't see /pol/ going anywhere anytime soon, infact I see the happening actually happening long before /pol/ goes.

They've already driven over 25% of the trraffic away. These guys are so much more paranoid than 4chan mods. Just read their fucking mod logs.

I don't post on /pol/ anymore because it's not as interesting as it was in the past. There are people who want a /pol/ with a looser moderation and those who want /pol/ with a stricter moderation. the great thing about 8chan is that both parties can feel satisfied. I see that /polpol/ has already taken off into a respectable board these last few weeks.

I don't think that "splitting the community" is a bad thing, since almost all of 8chan is crossboarders. I think these things can be fixed through additional features like multi board catalogs similar to reddits custom frontpages.

the insane /pol/ volunteer from the irc chat log was removed in december. I think doorways (owner) has become more involved since january, which is helping the board. I think some of the volunteers in /pol/ are trying their best but don't have the power or capability to change anything important like the rules.

Except they're not.

>irc logs

No, I'm talking about the ban list and the public mod logs.

/pol/ is never going to be sustainable with high numbers of users.
