Chickens at one of the UK’s biggest producers are lame and struggling to breathe due to cramped conditions, new footage shows.

A secret film has emerged from three farms in Lincolnshire run by Moy Park, which supplies meat to Ocado, Sainsbury’s and Tesco. The video shows dead birds left to rot and chickens unable to stand from extreme leg injuries.

If this is new information to you kys

Doesn't have to be new information to be unnecessarily cruel. Money should be spent to figure out how to achieve the output we currently have while improving the animals' living conditions, end of story.

In fact I bet you'd see taste improvement from it too

Or just like, not eat meat. The chickens would be happier, less greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere Even if you don't believe in man-made climate change you should still strive to support more breathable air with less pollutants and it makes more sense economically since meat is quite expensive to produce vs fruits and vegetables

That's unfortunately too big of a lifestyle change for most people though
