If the OP could ban up to 5 or 10 users in his thread then that'd be great. Not too overpowered. The board owner could enable this anarchy type of moderation on his board and set the limits for how weak or powerful the op can be.

As for another, more exaggerated idea.

I'd love a board with all the anarchy options set to the max. Where you can use dislikes, bans, smearing, shitposting as fun weapons. With safe zone bases, hotspot war zones, missile shitposts, raids, power-ups, points hoarding, control points, resources.

But that's more for a Warchan game idea I have going on between reddit and chans for javascript.

You probably have no intention or business working on that.

You can do it by tag system. You can see all threads with a certain tag wherever they are in tag system. This completely separates physical board(where the thread is) and virtual board(what they are talking in the thread). For your case, you must put a tag #selfModeration, and #decent, #serious or #anarchy for notifying regulation to participants. (You can put multiple tags to a thread.) Name of physical board means name of moderation team in this world.
