I think there is some bug with the audio inline/attachments, sometimes it doesn't show the maximum length of the song and doesn't let you move the seekbar/slider to the end of the song until it finishes it naturally.

Okay, it should be a bit better now. I'm learning a lot more about audio files than I intended to for this, haha.

Is the problem fixed for any newly uploaded audio files? Because the problem still persists right now for the existing audio files.

Focus on .ogg and vorbis-type files.

(Because maybe you can implement embedded .ogg into images and create a player for playing them)

And then .mp3.

I honestly don't see the point it taking FLAC/ALAC/APE/WAV when they'll be too big to upload.

You can convert and record in .ogg using audacity. So maybe make your own test sounds to use.

Ripping on the other hand, I use dBpoweramp Music Converter since you can convert full albums quickly (as compared to audacity) to just about every audio format in the sea.

Free use demo files, I wouldn't have a clue. I would assume Xiph.org would have some

Don't forget about http://opus-codec.org/ though (just click on examples on the navigation bar on the left to get example files, you can make opus encodes also with ffmpeg, should work just fine)

Does that include warning of the upload limit BEFORE posting? Or just a counter to show how big the filesizes are combined.

I'm sure to make it future-proof (if your pipe dream ever comes to fruition) have the ability for board owners to set max filesize warnings but leaving it at 8mb by default.

I assume it's going to be like the other types of systems. Hovering over the thumbnail will show an [X] on the top right of specific file. Clicking it would discard that file.

The page will not reset the form for any error. Even if the form fails to predict the error, which it will do 90% of the time, the post will stay loaded until you can get it to go through.

I feel mine is better because in yours a user would have to scroll to access the "click to add" button after adding 4 files. I also don't see a way to set spoiler status.

Scroll is set to auto so it doesn't appear unless you do actually need it.

Can we either get an option to hide album covers, or replace the icon with the black vinyl CD thing, or something? I fucking hate inconsistency while scrolling threads, and now some songs have a blank file icon while others have an album with a disk coming out of it.

I played around with this and I'm sorry to say I don't like it. The dashed line around the text looks gaudy, and the padding compresses the size of thumbnails more than it needs to. Each thumbnail can be like, 20px larger in size this way and it looks much better.

There's quite a few issues and user interface items that are less-than-perfect.

Just some things to be aware of.

- Some file types that shouldn't be able to be uploaded can now be.

- It's very unclear when a file has completed uploading.

- You can submit a post while files are uploading.

Though on the plus side, my MD5 has check works great.

I like putting the file extension or name of the codec somewhere on the default cover art (if the file has no cover art included)
