Nijiura is short for nijigenura or 二次元裏 which is a series of /b/ boards on Futaba the Japanese imageboard at 2chan.net. This isn't important but that's where the name comes from and it doesn't mean anything.
/nijiura/ doesn't have to be like the nijiura boards on Futaba. It doesn't have to be like /jp/, /b/ or /a/. It can be what the posters post. Posters can shitpost all they want here and nothing will be moderated except the global rule of illegal content. Just post what you feel like posting.
