I'd like to see a world where porn is no longer desired, and fapping is no longer necessary.
I don't hate porn/fapping, nor feel that it should be banned, but I do see the damage that porn is doing to society and kids. The problem isn't the porn, it's the need for it. There's always some antisocial reason behind it, it's used as a great distraction, you're delaying your needs of witnessing life. Kids are often bullied by everyone: Their teachers, their psychiatrists, their parents. They're going to escape to porn to find the life their instincts are pointing them to. I tend to ask people about how many times they need to jerk off to porn before they're finished. Life is much more than repeating the same thing, you can't expect an ending from an endless loop. And more importantly: it isn't real.
>I'm bored, I have porn open, I kinda want to fap, but when I fap when I'm bored, I always feel worse and my energy plummets, but then I fap anyway
If porn is really harmless, then consider why you think you need it. Surely you can allow the 60 seconds it takes for the thought to pass, and then it's over. You don't have to act upon every desire. Porn is a pavlovian habit. The more times you see a man jizz on a woman's face, the more you want to do it. Your sex drive is replaced with an addiction, it keeps it hostage.
Everyone has immense amounts of power, but they don't realize it. Everyone's an escapist nowadays, watching hollywood, jacking off to porn, playing video games, trying to be their favorite music artist, watching anime, etc. Nobody's encouraged to be their own guy. Everyone's stressed and making a whole lot of nothing in terms of progress, constantly going from point A to point B and having nothing to show for it, society has been replaced with "goals." There's no living in the moment; There's the future, the past, but not the present. It takes training to realize what you want and appeal to your instincts. When I think of happiness, I think of sunsets, trees, rain and people with character. There's something about enjoying the outdoors that brings out motivation and inspiration.
Happiness is to stop for a second and stop trying so hard. Trying to fix yourself by thinking is like trying to bite your own teeth. Stop being an emotional brickwall, and let your mind uncover parts of itself, because those are the natural instincts that we've put friction against for years. It's your mind, and you can think of whatever that makes you feel the best. The great fallacy of modern living is using technology to solve your problems. The goal used to be enjoying life with someone, but we've gradually supplanted both of those things, opening up a pandora's box of neurological issues. Replacing shit doesn't work; If you always do drugs at home, you're going to get addicted. Take control for yourself as a being, remove distractions, start living as you desire, then you'll live like your ancestors have.
