That's how some of the recent Hospital stuff has been released and it's annoying. Like Death is Unity With God, Immemorial, Nightmare Angels of the Expressways, Babe/Beer, Scarlet Locust Of These Columns and probably more

I get the whole exclusivity/limited/"pre-internet underground" thing but what's the point if don't even have a chance unless you live remotely near the venue

Agreed. You can capture that sort of idea just as effectively with direct mailing (No Rent Records recently introduced that - I've gotten two fliers in the mail from them) and give people the ability to get the releases without having to drive multiple hours to NYC.

with the recent skin crime box set, what are your thoughts with how hospital releases music?

the recent hospital batch included releases from Skin Crime, JK Flesh, an Alberich shirt, Lussuria, Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement, and Dual Action. They were only released as bundles except for the Skin Crime box set which can be purchased on its own. The bundles were:

- Skin Crime + JK Flesh + Alberich

- Skin Crime + JK Flesh + Alberich + Lussuria

- Skin Crime + JK Flesh + Alberich + Lussuria + RSE

- Skin Crime + JK Flesh + Alberich + Lussuria + RSE + Dual Action

So if you wanted the Dual Action tape for example, you'd have to buy the last and most expensive bundle at $270 USD. Personally I'm pretty annoyed at how there's no way to legally listen to or own a physical copy of these releases except for Skin Crime. I even asked Becka Diamond (works at hospital i think) on instagram if they would be available separately and she merely replied with "the bundles are going quick! overwhelming response!".

This is nothing new for Hospital either, with plenty of show-exclusive releases and limited editions never getting digital releases. I know i'm being entitled; there's no reason why the artist _should_ make something publicly accessible. It's just that while I want to support Hospital, I don't want to give them $200+ USD (not even considering exchange rates for my currency) for one thing out of the bundle.

The main reason was that many of the threads were sharing links that were dead, due to MEGA changing something in the background, thus rendering many of the posts here useless.

It also was done due for the sake of keeping everything current, as some of the posts were as old as the board itself, and only showed how dead the board is. My hope with a fresh start was so that people finding the board don't see months old posts with no replies, and no longer feel inclined to reply to anything.

I have a 9-5 so #realnoisehours is never really something I can take part in
