I love the board's rules, in fact I was thinking of creating one with a fairly similar setup (must have links and excerpts, etc.) though I do have a few questions for you, Owner.

1. Shouldn't we have a contact/meta thread? I tried posting this in the Rules thread originally but that is locked.
2. Is there any standard of material, or does anything up to fringe fly here? Not that I have a problem with much of the stuff, but will things like "aliums are real, ayy lmao check out this "news" link" be tolerated here?
3. Do you want board promotion? (I can do it for free). The rules seem like they would keep the board safe from any shitposters that follow the breadcrumb trail.
4. Where can one go to efficiently search many alt news sources? I doubt there will be much, if any, MSM on this board.
5. Will memeposting and off topic posts within threads be culled? Is the board 100% straight and serious or is there fun allowed? I don't mind either way, but the former would probably be better for getting news out.

I'm going to delete this thread after I'm sure you've read this. Future policy will be deletion and a 30 minute ban for all non-conforming threads. You know, for consistency and all that.

1. I don't see really how much there is left to say on /meta/ things. I might make one about a proper news stand CSS or for finding volunteers.

2. I would like to say no to start but I think fake news that has no pretense of even pretending to be real probably wouldn't be allowed. We'll see though, they could be the fun threads of the board.

3. Please do. I would greatly appreciate it.

4. You might want to compile a sources list now as best as you can and then set up an RSS feed. Personally I would love to see serious threads with maybe one or two fun threads / onion threads sprinkled in.

5. Yeah, I don't mind trolling or whatever but if it isn't witty: say posting a meme over and over, I'd probably hand out a short ban to tell them to cut it out.

I don't plan on it. There is really zero reason to add them to a board like this.

Also, when I end up adding volunteers they will adhere to a pretty obvious mod policy that I will post. If you see them violate it, I will can them.
