Any good action bar addons? I like minimalism
c9cfd9 No.59
>>52Vanilla addons aren't really that good.
I usually just use Bartender with Moveanything
KLH threat meter is pretty important though.
I can look up some more vital addons tomorrow, but i need to sleep soon.
80c9a3 No.77
>Atlas/Atlasloot
Because dungeon maps/loot tables are nice. Not recommended if you plan on going full immersion, though.
>Bartender
Infinitely superior button layout to the standard UI.
>OneBag
Makes bag management much easier.
>XPerl
Optional. Probably most useful for showing enemy health.

cooldowncount - decremental digits on abilities rather than the shitty sundial default
equipcompare - shows you your corresponsing slot next to the piece of gear you're looking at
inspector - keeps inspect open when the person is out of range
outfitter - saves gear sets so you don't have to equip each piece individually
klh threatmeter - threat actually mattered in vanilla, you could easily kill yourself as DPS
ct_raidassist - raid frames everyone used
My personal UI favorites:
ag_unitframes
bongos actionbar
A bunch of addons did things that are now included in wow if you played it in later expansions. I also don't remember what the damage meter was, so someone else can do that.

Which ones have the complete map and tells you where the quests are?

think I had a couple issues with simple minimap back on ED
4fcd7b No.335
>FuBAR
titanpanel is shit compared to this
looks fly as fuck and has everything you need. pic related. XPFu is my XP bar. the button on the fubar displays current XP/total xp and percentage when hovered on.
>CCWatch
keeps track of debuffs, CC effects, curses etc… Doesn't keep track of other people's polymorphs I don't think. Or at least it doesn't for mage.
>CleanMinimap
basically allows you to remove a bunch of shit from the minimap. I use this in conjunction with:
>MinimapButtonBag
which just collects addon buttons and combines them into one that slides out displaying others when clicked.
>MonkeyQuest + MonkeyQuestLog + MonkeyBuddy + MonkeyLibrary
Allows you to clean up questlog. MonkeyBuddy is just a GUI configuration tool. Nice and easy to configure.
>LunaUnitFrames
I don't use these but they're handy for those who don't want to configure their UI. AFAIK these can be found on Feenix' Emerald Dream forums. It had heal prediction, cast bars, 3d portraits, and is just a nice layout.
>MoveAnything
allows you to move anything. Even shit from other addons. Can be used to manually organize minimap buttons, move default minimap around etc. Very handy.
>Align
typing /align shows a grid overlay so you can autistically organize your UI
>Mik's Scrolling Combat Text
This again can be found on Emerald Dream forums. I'm willing to upload it here if wanted. The only version with a live link that I know of has French text and requires a forum signup. Anyways, this addon blows SCT out of the water.
and finally
>Discord Unit Frames
holy fuck
the holy fucking grail of unit frames for those who have a need to customize shit to exactly what they want. You can move around elements, customize text with text variables, load textures and fonts from a folder, so you can use resources like SharedMedia. Very robust in what you can do in terms of layout. Does not have shit like heal prediction. I know it's possible to get it to work with stuff like MobInfo2 so you can see exact values but I forget how to do that now.
Can customize XP bar, honor bar, party frames, pet frames, party pet frames, target of target… some other stuff. Invoke the UI with /duf
>Discord Action Bars
As far as I can tell this is far and away the best addon for action bars in vanilla if you spend a little while learning how it works. The only out of the ordinary thing it does is uses action IDs.
Action IDs are applied to buttons individually, and there is an action ID for every button, even buttons on seperate pages. However, multiple buttons can have the same action ID. So buttons 2 and 6 can perform the same action. It can be annoying if you're not doing anything fancy and don't understand it at first, but when I play something like priest, you can use this to create a duplicate button of your action bar button, like Power Word: Shield, that is clickthrough and only displays under certain conditions, like Is On Cooldown, or Is Off Cooldown. You can use it like a pseudo cooldown notifier near the center of the screen, or when charges are expended for something like Inner Fire. Discord Action Bar buttons have separate keybindings. Again, robust, but kind of fucky in its configuration.
Personally right now all I have is that my action bar fades to 35% opacity when out of combat. There's a lot you can do with the button control conditions.
Or you can just completely strip the buttons down. It's totally up to you.

Not really an addon but motherfucking WoW Cartographe.
Need to find some npc? Where the raptors at? Or just check around?
Available in French and English (baguette database being bigger) Install, don't update, enjoy never being lost or checking wikis for hours to find some long removed crappy npc in the middle of nowhere again.

Gatherer. Everytime you mine an ore or collect an herb it marks that node down on your map so you can come back to it later. It works great for farming

I made a mod that changes the cursor to the orc cursor from Warcraft II:
http://download1512.mediafire.com/88njn95i94dg/8rpbob7n8xrqe72/WC2cursor.zip(put the Cursor folder in the Interface folder, not in AddOns)
Found one that changes it to the ones from WC3 as well, undead/nightelf/orc:

This is true.
The only addon that I use and haven't seen mentioned yet is CensusPlus. Not useful when playing in any way, but it is fun to have running in the background and seeing the trends that come up. Fun fact: Of 5000+ characters surveyed 44% of the Horde is made up of Undead.
