>have a shitty 98 nissan with a massively off balance, practically 12 inches vertically crooked with a dented fender due to a car crash the previous Josh was in

>normalfags tell me to keep the vehicle and stop being such a pussy

>one normalfag know it all is calling me ignorant

Normally I'd agree except last year I was in a car crash and now have serious stenosis. Via some miracle however the nerves being pinched do not hurt me, nor are they malfunctioning enough to make me a hotwheels tier cripple.

Am I being a complete pussy or are my fears valid?

God, I'm sorry for being such a faggot, it's a '98 Nissan Frontier.

613fa5 No.3891

Nigga if the car is fucked and you fear for your life with each drive, then junk it. What're you trying to pull here by driving a death trap, especially if it's a fucking Frontier?

>>3891

To top it off these fucking normalfags are telling me to just "repair" it.

But hell it's not just a fender bumper problem but the damn thing's a/c, odometer and speedometer don't work either.

I don't know much about cars, but I know better than to trust a normalfag's words about anything.

Anyhow thanks for your opinion anon, I'm sticking to my guns and going to look for a new vehicle.

Never trust a normie in regards to 100+ MPH death traps. Cars are not to be trifled with, and if a car is badly damaged beyond repair and the cost to fix it is either too high or out of your budget, then it's best to just junk it. Anybody with half a brain can see that, and these normies clearly lack that half a brain.

Had some normies tell me a few years back that "as long as the car is running, it's fine and will be safe" in regards to a car I bought out of a wrecking yard that had some busted control arms and steering linkages I foolishly thought I could fix up. Car wouldn't track straight, and on sharp turns felt like the R&P was gonna let loose at any moment and send me hurtling towards my death.

Lesson of the day is, never listen to normies.

What's really infuriating is that the "know it all" normie works at a fucking lawfirm that specializes in automobile accidents as a case manager!

This bitch PRACTICALLY looks at the internal damages a car attains from a "slight fender bender" for a fucking living!

She's either really malevolent or a dumb fucking cunt.

I'm going with the latter though. She used to drive a 95 Sentra that couldn't go faster than 50mph! Said car was being droven on a fucking highway that had a speed limit of 65 mph every day she commuted to and fro from work!

simple anon if you don't enjoy driving the car then don't. Don't feel safe in it, don't use it.

Since your "friends" are so keen on fixing it why not sell it to them? Let those fuckers die in it.

Anyways sounds like the truck is in bad shape and if you do end up fixing it you will probably end up throwing more money than the vehicle is worth. You did say you don't know much about cars, so you will probably have to pay for labor and that doesn't seem worth it to me at least.

anon I think you need new "friends"

>Had some normies tell me a few years back that "as long as the car is running, it's fine and will be safe

I hope i never meet people like this in real life.

Fuck man people like this exist, people actually believe this, these people drive on public roads. FUCKING IDIOTS!

It just so happens the jack asses have a brand new 2014 Honda Sonata and a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser.

fffb2d No.3905

it probably actually is fine if the frame rails are undamaged

but if you are incapable of repairing it, or assessing it correctly, sell it

9f5599 No.3912

Given your description, your suspension might be busted in the best case, and a twisted frame in the worst case.

I might sound like an idiot, but did you take your car to a shop to inspect the damage the crash caused?

I'm sort of poor right now, so the normalfags want me to keep the vehicle.

>tfw I have to use a GPS to keep track of the vehicle's speed

You gotta save up for an assesment anyways. Think it in this way: if you want to get rid of your car, you might better get the most cash out of it (if it can get repaired at a reasonable price). Make some calls at shops/dealers and weight the numbers in.

In the mean time be safe/leave the car at the garage.
