I try to clean it out, but sometimes things sit for a few days. Anything that'll actually decay or smell or leak is thrown out at the next stop, though.

Fuel/snack receipts can stay for weeks, though. They have to be thrown out in bulk, when I'm sick of them, so I just go through the car with a bag every so often to clear out all the miscellaneous papers.

The driver's footwell is perpetually scattered with bits of road surface, though. My boots just pick them up and drop them.

I hoard everything. It's the only way to go.

My celica is packed with trash. Everywhere but the drivers seat really. Dash full of trash passenger side full of trash. Rear seats folded down to fill more trash back hatch full of trash.

I need it there because it should not be disposed with.

I have so much weight in the vehicle from the trash that tire problems are frequent.

I know you're joking, but we actually had a lady like that come to the place I used to work at. She even had problems keeping tires on the car like you say. We stopped servicing her vehicle once it became evident that she was not the only creature living in that car.
