Blunder of the century?

Blunder of the century indeed. Hope this isn't the new Skyline. The ridges on the sides of the top of the front fenders are fun though.

No, anon. It's the new Z, and it's a fucking crossover. Not even six cylinder anymore either. It's supposed to be an I4 with turbo.

I thought the juke NISMO was supposed to be the stupid fast crossover?

Not that it matters, the Z was last relevant in what? 2003-ish?

>>6269

A little bit longer than that, anon. NFS Underground 2 came out in 2004, and Tokyo Drift was released in 2006. The Z was very relevant due to these appearances.

Oops, left my /tv/ shitposting trip on

6902cc No.6303

Lol, they just backtracked and came out and said it's a concept that doesn't replace any current model. They called it the Gripz.

Though, who knows, they might still fuck it up.

I still call a GT-R a Skyline to this day. I simply refuse to acknowledge the 4-door Infiniti that's been in production since 2003 is the successor to the R34. The only car where you could drop the name of the base model and still have it make sense is the Evo, because no-one I know ever refers to it as a "Lancer Evolution".

39ec5b No.6311

>>6310

The Evo has a noticeable change, I've driven an impreza, an impreza STI, a Lancer, and an Evo. The Impreza and the "nah bro it's an sti" felt identical. The Evo felt like it had an edge over the base Lancer.

>>6214

Then it's not a fucking Z then. Even if they call it that it's like calling book an oven. It'll just make you look stupid or crazy.

>>6269

Not really. they just stuffed a GT-R engine into one for some publicity and slapped their badge on the one you could buy. Also the 350Z will always be relevant It was relevant as a good GT car, and now it's becoming relevant as it's dropping into affordable sports car territory

>>6303

Can someone tell the marketing guru's that replacing an S with a Z lost ALL credibility in the early 2000's? Can it just end?

Are you saying the STI feels the same as a base model Impreza or a WRX?

39ec5b No.6476

>>6450

I felt no difference, please elaborate on how my experience is wrong and how facts on paper dictate exactly how a car feels to everyone. Hasn't stopped anyone before.

b73907 No.6483

They almost had it right.

>fill in the area outside the shroud housing the badge

>raise wheel wells up/lower car

>slim car down a bit

>call it the new s-chassis
