Help me /o/.

I've got my license one year ago, and have been driving pic related for this time. (1989, got it at 99.000km, it was my grandpa's. 769cc)

I want something with a sportive vibe to it, better if from Japan, since I'm liking their designs a lot.

I'm from Italy

Budget is 6/7k€

I'm actually looking at a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX for € 7.300 which is pretty dope

>>7144

Also, do cars like the ones I described even exists in Diesel version?

Here Diesel is cheaper (we pay ~1.45€/lt for gasoline, which rougly translates to 6$/gallon), so it would be nice to save some cash

27e58f No.7149

an alfa 155 is probably your best bet for price/performance

>Also, do cars like the ones I described even exists in Diesel version?

not if you actually want any kind of decent performance

7e9ef0 No.7150

>>7149

I don't really need to go too fast, I'm happy with something that just looks good, since I'm a poorfag

While the Alfa is kinda ok, it just feels too bulky

Also, something made after 2005 would be better

Lol no your just a jdm 2 fast 2 furious day boy.

Problem is that the japos don't make diesels or any that I know of. Germans have dominated that market.

So what do you want? A reliable diesel? Or a shitbox jdm car?

What op needs is a nice medium sized camry Or a 5 series or a Hyundai.

Hyundai has come along way! Sure they are still on the low end of the market but they do have the cheapest good power rwd na v6 even the sedan genesis or the equss. 60k for a full option 500hp Mercedes amg wannabe?

I don't really have a whole ton of experience with many cars, I've only really owned three in the past but I noticed your budget was about the same as mine. I ended up getting an 07 Civic Si coupe. Pretty happy with it so I thought I'd share what worked well for me.

+reliable

+cheap maintenance/parts

+customizable as fuck if you want to

+cheap as fuck insurance because it's still a civic

+fun as hell to drive

what the fuck are you doing, italbro

get your hands on a Ford Sierra 2.0

Either the Pinto (OHC) or DOHC is fine

>105hp at least, 125 in DOHC injection

>rdw

>cheap

>maintenance is cheap

>fun to drive

>tons of grip

there are models with V6s but they're rarer and more expensive. However, dont get the 1.6L engine, it's shit (unless you want a cheap base to get some hp out of it).

>1989

>too old

what are you, a faggot?

7e9ef0 No.7246

>>7244

The sierra here is quite uncommon, so used ones are a bit pricey (>7k for ones in good condition)

>>1989

>>too old

>what are you, a faggot?

If I had the knowledge and the money to be able to mantain an old car, I would buy it in an heartbeat. I'm currently fapping to cars with at least 15 years, but I know I won't buy one anytime soon

Nigger I've driven a 90 Hp Turbodiesel Seat Cordoba as my first car and there was nothing unfun about it.

>No traction control, ABS or ESP

>Driving on highway

>in heavy rain

>hydroplaning

>Doing sick burnouts at 130km/h on the summer tires

Beaters are fun. Cars you invested loads of money in are not so fun. You think of those 18000 bucks every time you drive it.

1898e9 No.7366

>>7246

I could sell you one for 2k with the DOHC and custom paint if you add some cash in front

learn to maintain your car, man, it's fun, saves you money and time and creates a bond between you and your carfu

>>7254

I'm only talking about modern shitboxes. I have a Renault 25 turboD and that shit is actually fun to drive because lolmushysuspension and no traction control

old shitboxes are fun as shit, but post 95 it gets fucking depressing because electronics and assists.

this is why i like the US market much better

we have the third option of cheap high performance beaters, you can go buy a cheapass early 90s 275HP LT1 camaro all day long for $1500-3500 and have tons of fun

465bdd No.7422

>>7410

buy the Haynes manual for your car
