>When was the last time you crashed?

last time i crashed was about 2 years ago when i pulled a treequinox and crashed a foxbody while hooning on backroads doing 90+

>How bad was it?

i surprisingly had no injuries other than a sprained back and some bruises but the car burned to the ground

>last time you crashed

I crashed my new to me truck in July after having it for a month. My first major purchase, I was so proud of her. I ran a red light by accident because I'm retarded and was sleep deprived.

>how bad was it

I sent 3 teenage girls, who were all sisters, to the hospital after crushing their little corolla like a tin can.

Everyone turned out to be okay, only minor cuts and bruises, but it seriously fucked me up for a while. The scene was surreal, and I thought I killed one of them at first, since she was unresponsive.

I am now super fucking defensive on the road and don't drive very often anymore. Still gives me nightmares.

How did you not get sued to death?

280df2 No.7689

About a year ago, some lady t-boned me in my b2000. Fucked up my arm(gotta love metal doors, nerve damage). Passenger got whipped around pretty badly because bench seat, too.

Other than that, not too bad. Bought the truck back because salvage was 60bux for some reason, still driving it after replacing steering box+most of front end.

Oh, and I bought a sweet travel trailer with some insuro-bucks.

Not sure, honestly. It might have had something to do with their dad being a very kind pastor. Being sued was the last thing on my mind then. If I was sued, I share a liability insurance policy with my richfag folks that would cover me for a buttfuck ton of money if it did happen. Still though, I wouldn't want to drag them into my wrongdoings, and have their rates get jacked up. I'd just feel even worse.

Still glad that everyone was okay.

>Driving NB on the freeway, 70mph, shitting rain

>Hit a yump in the road and immediately lost the tail (car rotated from going straight to 90 degrees in about a second)

>Apply moderate brake force, nothing else I can do.

>Helicopter across the freeway spinning 3-4 times as cars swerve around me

>See the center divider wall coming fast, looks like I am going nose in, pull my legs back, cross my arms over my chest. I welcome the steering column to impale my chest.

>Hit the center divider (good whack, but not as strong as I thought it would be)

>Start sliding down the center divider while spinning against it (about 500 ft), manage to get the car straightened out pointed the right way and stopped.

>Dial 9-1… then pause.

>Get out, see all the wheels are attached, shrug.

>Get back in, start the car, drive off.

Ended up bending both frame rails at the firewall. Sold the car to a guy that wanted to swap the drive-train into an NA.

it ate two 3.8l v6 engines, 3 transmissions, several serp belts, power steering racks, and warped brake rotors in its lifetime. Grandfather bought it new and shortly after he passed away the third trans went. thing was the definition of money pit, but it got me through college.

OP here again, managed to find an '05 focus with all of its mechanical bits in supreme condition for a reasonable price. Clever money management and frugal living meant I could pay for it cash but it still feels like utter shit having lost my V70 the way I did and icy roads now fill me with dread.

Drive safe you faggots

Luckily nobody got hurt, but the family didn't let me drive alone for close to 2 years.

That was 8 years ago, managed not to hit anything since.

Although some old lady backed into my caravan in a parking lot, but that car was such a piece of shit I couldn't even tell where the new dents were.

Almost died as shown in the diagram. Long, backed-up line. Person decides to let me through and doesn't realize I can't see anything in the next two lanes, and this is a 45 mph road. Scariest jump across two lanes I've ever made.

957f8e No.7972

Once I dented the bumper while first learning to drive, and a couple years later I broke my tail light lens on someone's truck. Nothing more serious than that.

But I've already come to terms with the idea of wrecking my shitzmobile. I would hate to get get seriously injured, or hurt someone else though.

8cca0f No.7999

I've only bumped and been bumped in parking lots or at lights, never any damage of any sort.

I have never crashed.

ac9cfd No.8023

When I was like 14 I was asked to move my dad's SUV from a side parking lot into his driveway right next to it, basically just around a line of grass.

I got in, flipped into reverse, and let it back up without hitting the gas. I looked down for a moment, and felt it speed up a lot more than I was expecting. Hit the brakes too lightly and backed into some poor guy's car, leaving a big scratch on it.

Then I just parked the SUV and left, feeling like I was gonna have a heart attack.

Also got something stuck in my eye once while driving, needed to change lanes and almost drove into a guy coming up right next to me who I didn't see.

That sucks, Ever look into S40 R Design, now that you have the chance?

Iv'e yet to crash myself but ive been the passenger of a crash.

>Be me

>Be passenger in a government vehicle

>Be going to work orientation

>Driver is a 20vsomething jackass who drives like he's playing PGR2

>Not having slept that night, I doze off, despite the spirited driving.

>I wake up to our car nailing some obviously leased Toyota Avalon in front of us.

>Face smacks in the niggly reclined seat

>Shitty EG hatch hits the back of us.

>Too dazed to comment

>Drivers of the three respective cars, get out to argue

>Cop comes by and inspects us. deems us fine, save out front passenger who managed to get a tiny glass shard lodged in his eye

> All three cars have to be pushed off the highway by police cars like

>our driver loses his license for dui

>He somehow kept his job, but demoted

>btw our car was a 98' Taurus

>3 shit cars forever off the road.

And nothing of value was lost.

8098d5 No.8034

Apart from a nasty scratch when parking my old car in my garage (which is at a 90° angle to the driveway) I never crashed a car even though I tend to drive pretty fast.

I usually only take calculated risks.

f83f81 No.8046

4 door wrangler JK. Speeding down 90-100 km/h on an 80 km/h. Keeping my distance because I know it's a heavy car with shit brakes.

Car in front of the pack decides to make a last second turn into a side road, all cars begin to brake somewhat abruptly. They were all econoboxes so it wasn't a big deal for them.

Slam my breaks just enough so they don't lock up (the abs in the jeep is TRASH to be honest)

Approaching a jetta that's standing and now I have the brake pressed all the way, and then a very gentle "bump".

Teeny tiny black scratch from the liscence plate screw in her bumper, top kek. Was a young girl who I assume didn't have insurance because she said it was all good and drove away.

Next time I sense a close call I'm swerving into a ditch. Not worth the risk and I can always 4 wheel out of it.

>still drives like new though

The crash shook me up. It was just 2 months ago and I still get a little jumpy when somebody stops short in front of me
