Since we had a "Post cars everyone likes besides you" thread, why not have a much better "Post cars that you like and why" thread. I'll start.

(pic related for the thread below, the faggotry was unbearable)

BMW E46 M3: Has a posh interior while having one of the best engines BMW has produced thus far. Fast, fun to drive, and considering what you get, affordable. With an aftermarket supercharger you can get some serious power from the S54.

Porsche 911: dad has two of them, so I've got fond memories being in one. One of the original driver's cars - distinctive look that's sure to turn heads (unless you live in LA or SF, in which case you should be asking yourself why you live in either city.)

The newer ones are more luxurious than the previous ones but don't sacrifice performance to do so.

>Third gen Pontiac Firebird

I think that the 1982-1984 bumpers, spoiler. and taillights without the ground effects is the better body style of what I think is the best looking 80's wedge car. 1989 is when they made the most power before adding airbags and 60 button steering wheels.

A G92 WS6 T5 formula to the GTA is comparable to what the LX 5.0 T5 was to the GT 5.0 T5. And I feel like I'm rambling about turd gens now.

Can confirm, the 1600 Duratec revs quite freely in our C-Max.

> MPV

> Mini-MPV at that

Just ew. I drive a regular Focus, and don't want a bunch of extra mass weighing it down. The 1.6 engine isn't adequate for acceleration as it is, at least without the newer ecoboost engine I couldn't afford.

But in an effort to stay on topic, I like my current Focus. It's new-ish; 2011, new shape and just pre-ecoboost. And despite the 'newer cars are shit' meme from halfchan poorfags, it's a great car.

Engine isn't powerful enough for acceleration, but it's fine when you don't have to accelerate rapidly. It claims I get 39.4MPGs on the trip computer, so that offsets the fact that it demands premium fuel. Fucking drama queen.

But it handles super well, and it's all comfy inside with everything in the right place. Even the mechanic that did the MOT the other day agrees that it's a nice car.

And it reads music off a USB stick in the glovebox. There's a little tray for car park tickets to be slotted into that's just the right size, the gearstick is the right stiffness so you don't feel like you're going to break it but also don't feel like it's going to break YOU, and the brakes are really fucking effective.

9000% better than the shitbox Astra I used to drive, but the only thing THAT had going for it was the gorgeous metallic blue paint, the stupid acceleration, and the loud-as-fuck stereo.

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but we bullshit with drivers about how nice their car is all the time just to make things pleasant (and sometimes to get them to stop abusing their vehicle, or to help convince them to add on some other repair or service).

Also what I like most about my S2000. I love going out just cruising and getting waves and thumbs up. I would like to either pick up a 944 someday or get a second job and get pic related though.

>not 400% overvalued

Would've bought one except everyone in my area that ran and wasn't covered in rust was ~14k. But that's alright, because they were tastefully modded. That and everyone I knew hated working on them. And they worked on them a lot.

I envy you and your Yellow s2k

14k is nothing compared to the 50k for NSX

Is this a good deal? Im getting tired of FWD

Doesn't sound like too bad a deal, especially with the low mileage. I was looking at a Boxster too but then I saw the engine bay. Looks like it would be a pain to do anything myself.
