'03 mustang GT

Like:

>sounds awesome

>comfy

>fast

>i love the looks of new edge SN95s, but please don't bully my rear window vents

Dislike:

>power steering

>autotragic

>19 mpg at best

'87 mr2 with a 20v blacktop

Like:

>High revving, you feel like you have all the time in the world to shift

>pop up headlights

>no power steering

>also sounds awesome

>handles like a dream

>visibility is great

>tiny

>t-tops

>glorious 80's car smell every time i get in it

>easy 20+ mpgs when being a shithead in it, 30-40 when not being a shithead

Dislike:

>pedals are fucking tiny, can't wear boots without fat-footing pedals often

>t-tops are leaky, working to fix that however

>costs more than the mustang to insure

>have to use both hands to push the gear selector over to R because the shifter linkage is sloppy

2009 Ford Escape (not my choice, obviously)

Like:

>storage with rear seats folded down is about on par with that of a mini truck, and considering it has a roof as well I could probably sleep in the back with an air mattress if I needed to

>not the slowest I4 engine ever

>automatic, which I only consider good because its my DD and I live in a populated city with rush-hour traffic

>radio has built-in aux jack

Dislike:

>high center of gravity (biggest drawback for me, honestly)

>sub-par interior

>FWD

>power steering, which I consider a drawback because I'm more a fan of older car handling

>front tires need to be refilled CONSTANTLY because FWD crossover

tl;dr its fine enough in terms of "practicality", but in terms of being an enjoyable car to drive it definitely falls short.

>Still fun to drive because turbo and shift controls on the steering wheel

>Difficult for an amateur mechanic to fix stuff that breaks

>Engine runnin' real gud nowadays

>Muffler is rusted out and it sounds cool to me

>Paint still looks good from 20 feet away

>Oldschool look and feel, plus whitewall tires are easy to find for it

>Parts are generally cheap, engine shares a lot of parts with the ubiquitous Buick 3800

>Easy to work on

>Interior be clean af

>It's my baby (even though it's older than I am)

Dislike

>Although the rusty muffler makes it sound mean, it's really not that fast

>Pretty bad PSF leak (but hey, at least the oil, ATF, brake fluid, and coolant leaks are gone now!)

>No A/C

>Window motors getting weak

>Automatic, with only 3 speeds

>12v outlet doesn't work, and fixing it blows the radiator fan fuse

>No OBD2

>Bad gas mileage, without being fun enough to make up for it

>retarded headrests (seats themselves are comfy 2 the max tho)

>dipstick designed by a dipshit (very hard to read from it because it's always smeared)

>exhaust too quiet

>gearbox doesn't always agree, especially in cold weather

>can't rev past 2500 RPM or so when standing still
