I've heard plenty of people say that any Windows OS is a big no-no for Tor, but what about Ubuntu? I haven't heard anything, good or bad, about it in terms of darkweb browsing, but I since I have it on my computer along with Windows 7, I wanted to know if it was a good option.

I have yet to use Tor at all, since I wanted to be sure of this first. What do you guys think?

 No.524

Ubuntu is fine.

I would personally stay away unity (because of amazon ads) and uninstall any crash reporters like apport.

 No.528

you could also just use tails

 No.555

I can't recommend you use it. There are so many other Linux distros that are more secure. Such as TAILS. Just use tails.

Tails, dude..

windows is the most secure OS for tor, but you have to know how to do it right
