This is the second time I've heard this happened, pic related being the first. I'm more inclined to believe it was a rouge global vol, rather than copypaste himself.

Globals can't delete boards or change the board creation system.

Lowcard or any old global(by the time only /siztra/ and /int/ were popular) can confirm this.

any board can be a fileboard. It's an option for BOs that most people don't use because they don't want one. >>>/file/

Have you even used /f/ since the imgur drama? Flashes can still be downloaded from 8ch, they just won't load automatically into a separate tab - you have to agree to downloading it and then play the local copy.
