Hello
As some of you may know October 23rd is going to be 8chans 2nd birthday. So copypaste/hotwheels wanted to solicit some possible art from the community for that day.
So if you want to help, then please post your art in this thread. Now if you aren't an artist or anything, you can still help by posting possible ideas for the final art piece.
To keep things interesting, the winning art piece will also be able to choose a board of their choice to be featured for a week.

Note: Since this will be featured on the homepage, the larger the image the better.
As requested by copypaste, i'll be keeping this thread fairly focused. So apologies if any off-topic posts get deleted.
Note: I don't typically touch posts on /operate/, So this isn't a regular occurrence. Also all deletions in this thread will be later posted in the general /operate/ thread.

I really like this one. It's a nice representation of 8chan and it's boards as a whole. My only real complaint with it is the airplane looks a little off and so does the infinity sign on the infinitely-chan banner it's flying around. Very nice work anon.

I did the contour, but only these two character leaves the image too empty so I was planing in place more character, like /v/, /pol/ and Ebolachan. Following your suggestions, I'll try to draw Jim and monar too.
The problem is I barely have any time to draw during the week. You'll only see some progress during weekends.

Anyways, it just takes a quite a bit of time and effort. I personally learned through multiple image tutorials / video tutorials / books, enduring countless criticism and insults, and finally my own attention to detail and ability to understand how nature works. All of those shaped and developed my drawing techniques, letting me come this far. I just sat down one day and said to myself, "I want to draw a cute girl and beautiful scenery" and I've been working towards that ever since.
Please bear in mind that drawing is a skill that demands massive amounts of time and effort for absolutely no reward other than the satisfaction of creating a pretty image, or telling a story through a series of images. If you have the patience and the mindset to deal with solitary improvement over a long period of time, you will surely be able to draw well with enough effort. Once you get the hang of the fundamentals, drawing offers a fun and dynamic challenge with no end to how much you can learn and how much you can create. Draw what's in your head, find your happy little accidents, patch them up, and improve little by little, one by one. I started with stick figures and found my way up over the course of three years, and I'm sure you can too.
Just be patient, draw consistently, and find a technique that works for you. No magic or talent required, just your determination to draw well.

I made a bunch of art with 2 other anons I browse 8chan with, but as I realized Nunu supports vols who permaban users on /b/ for no reason, and thinks those who are permabanned don't matter, I deleted all of it. The two other anons might post it, but I doubt it.
