I seriously doubt there's anything legal about spreading someone's personal information, abusing his personal information, harassing him, trying to get him swatted, making false reports about him to the authorities, and encouraging people to go after him etc.

Even if by some miracle all of this is legal, that doesn't mean it should be allowed. What's more, Acid Man is a board owner; is this how you want to advertise 8chan to people who might want to start a board here? Might as well tell them to go to Reddit instead.

So there we have it. You can doxx anyone you like on 8chan and talk all day about all the illegal things you're going to do to them and encourage others to do them too. 8chan's administration says it's legal (source: they occasionally get drunk and watch Perry Mason), so it's perfectly fine. Maybe Acid Man did something to piss people off and that makes it ok in the eyes of 8chan, but what if it's not Acid Man next time but someone who really has done nothing to legitimately antagonize anyone at all? It's not illegal (wink wink nudge nudge) and there's already a precedent that doxxing is fine. If someone starts a board here and someone else manages to doxx them, the administration's not going to do shit, so go fuck yourself. If you're actively working to repel people from the site then why don't you just shut it down?
