If I were to put my entire collection of otomads up for download, how would you want me to deliver it?
As much as I'd like to put the whole thing up for download, it's 40-50 gb atm, and I don't think anyone would bother.
Would breaking it into chunks of 7-10 gb be satisfactory?
I haven't brought compression into consideration here, I'm unsure as to how much I could reliably reduce the file size in the download.

RULES
1. Post about anything related to YTPs, YTPMVs, anime/manga, or nicovideo (including MADs, OtoMADs, MMDs, etc). If what you're posting isn't even tangentially related to the above, it can be deleted at my own discretion (it should be said, however, that I'm not one to delete things on a whim).
2. Please don't post screamers. A screamer is any webm/mp4/swf/etc where the sound unexpectedly becomes extremely loud. If it's just a mild screamer, and what you're posting has value, just try to add a warning in the text.
3. Try not to create duplicate threads. Overlapping content is okay, but threads which serve essentially the same purpose as an existing thread (assuming that existing thread isn't full) will be frowned upon, perhaps to the point of deletion. However, I will not delete meaningful content. I intended for this rule to grant me the power to ban intentional spam, without being quite so subjective (how is spam defined?).

1. What is an OtoMAD?
An OtoMAD is a musical composition created by taking samples from various sources (gay porn, anime, and such) and remixing them into a song.
2. What is a YTPMV?
YTPMV is an acronym for YouTube Poop Music Video. It's the western equivalent of OtoMAD. They mean essentially the same thing, but in practice OtoMADs and YTPMVs typically use different samples.
3. What is the preferred file format of this board?
Webm is optimal, but swf, mp4s and such are also welcome.
4. What tool do you use to convert from one video format to another?
FFmpeg is the program that I'd recommend.

To start, some very basic information:

The really tricky part is trying to find stuff that isn't properly tagged. One method I've had some success with is searching for videos I've already downloaded on nico video, then looking at the "lists" tab to see which lists have been created that include that video. Some of these lists probably have good selections, but I haven't found any exceptional ones yet.
