As titled, let's discuss strategies for finding the good content on nicovideo.jp

To start, some very basic information:

>The main tag for otomads on nico video is not "otomad", this is the English tag which will contain a much more limited selection. The real tag is 音MAD.

>For gachimuchi, it's レスリングシリーズ.

>In most cases, you need to use the Japanese tags if you want to find the good stuff.

The really tricky part is trying to find stuff that isn't properly tagged. One method I've had some success with is searching for videos I've already downloaded on nico video, then looking at the "lists" tab to see which lists have been created that include that video. Some of these lists probably have good selections, but I haven't found any exceptional ones yet.

What strategies do you use?

I just put the name of the flavor of the month in and dig trough the unfunny normal MADs to find a nice oto mad.

I also check the lists of users that made things I liked.

His sampling is very eclectic, but most of his stuff blends very well together.

I think this could be an easier way to wade through all of the crap on nicovideo and find some hidden gems. He includes a playlist in the video description with links to the original videos (in order).

According to korean youtubers, Korean otomads can be found on three sites: Dcinside, ilbe.com, and tvple.com
