He just doesn't get it. It started off as an accident since his cartoon caricatures could be easily replaced with the merchant since the bankers and enemies of liberty are more often or not Jews. His signature was carelessly left on with no malicious intentions and he found them circulating about a year after the initial edits occured. Some elements on /pol/ saw from his reaction and nutty conspiracy beliefs like chemtrails (but you can never question the true events of the holocaust!) that he could be turned into a lolcow. The proper response Ben would just to add a disclaimer back in 2009 and move on. You did add the disclaimer but you also made a lot of noise which hurt you in the long run.
PS: if you're reading this Ben, the best way to handle this is to just break your cognitive dissonance and become a proud National Socialist or fade out of the public memory.
