Considering the smallish, slowish (but lovable) community that 8chan has, I think it's a good idea to consolidate ideologically similar boards that have small user-bases.
I created this board because there was no board for gardening, but I'd like /perma/ to be a board which welcomes discussion of anything related to the PC ethics and principles, including homesteading, self-sufficiency, disaster preparedness, low-impact lifestyles, etc. A long as it's driven by compassion for living beings and concerned with achieving maximum thermodynamic efficiency, it belongs here.
I'd love to have a good relationship between /perma/ and /poverty/, since they share many of the same ethics and indeed techniques.
