>>7I got into permaculture because my econ teacher in high school was a permy homesteader. I ended up taking a PDC that he taught this past summer.
I'd consider myself a beginner when it comes to technique. This past growing season I sheet-mulched a small section of my backyard and started a food garden, which has yielded good crops of greens, squash and potatoes. Next year I'd like expand to perhaps twice the size of my previous plot and grow more staples.
I have a great deal of interest in the ethics and principles of permaculture, and try to apply them to most every aspect of my life, including cooking, fashion, traditional games and computers.
I'm also well into P2P, which I like to think of as online permaculture.
