A mistake that most people make is to assume that the more followers you can recruit, the better. That's true if you are trying to win an election. A vote is a vote regardless of whether the voter is deeply committed or just barely interested enough to get to the polls. But when you're building a revolutionary movement, the number of people you have is far less important than the quality of your people and the depth of their commitment. Too many lukewarm or otherwise unsuitable people will ruin the movement.

Ubuntu will probably adopt systemd too.
As to systemd free distros, or should I say redpiled ones, Slackware, Gentoo, Dragora, Funtoo, CRUX Linux, PCLinuxOS , Vector Linux(can't use systemd because they use a different scheduler, systemd wants cgroups a feature that BFS does not provide.)
Anything else using BFSby default is a good bet too.

Gun control is always an issue that is brought up to show just how "anti-individual" the left is, but that's laughable because the far right conservatives have just as long and stories history of suppressing individual rights for the sake of religion or tradition (Anti-miscegenation laws, including religion mixing, porn censorship, alcohol prohibition, both are anti-free market activities and inherently anti-individual)

The truth is that society will always, one way or another, either through political or cultural means, establish a group of norms that people live by. It doesn't matter if it's "everyone has to wear a hat outside" or "no one can own a gun". This is neither a left or right issue, all people indulge in this.

We need to discuss future relations with #GG as a whole and our involvement. Most /pol/lacks interested in #GG do not identify as /pol/ for obvious reasons and participate simply as any other anon. Shills posing as /pol/ or misguided /pol/lacks are both being used as examples of sliding discussion.

While #GG actively crosses over with /pol/ topics by its very nature, its good for our brand of discussion to have a presence, but at the same time that presence is used as ammo to stir conflict between posters, slide threads, and poison relations with #GG (mainly those unfamiliar with /pol/).

We long ago agreed that #GG needs to win on its own terms and multiple forces are interested in using #GG to push their own agenda. Shills spout the narrative that /pol/ wants to use #GG for its own agenda. The more vocal they are, the more frustrated posters they make, the more likely they will believe anti-/pol/ shills as long as it makes /pol/ go away. Some may have even resigned to this out of ignorance and annoyance.

Shills want posters to be so tired of /pol/ and they do this by fabricating complaints. This is not a new tactic, but it has seen a resurgence which is why awareness for this issue is important. Their end goal is to have users complaining about /pol/ on their own and become useful idiots. This will enable them to dismiss certain issues as /pol/ related and people agreeing.

It is like various strains of communists arguing that the others are not true communists. Stalin wasn't a true communist, Lenin wasn't a true communist, Mao wasn't a true communist, Trotsky wasn't a true communist. In reality, they were all communists and just had minor disagreements on the methods of bringing it about. Marcuse fits in this as well. So I've claimed this board temporarily and it looks like a number of other boards have sprung up in as well.

but there doesn't seem to be much info on mods yet. I think we are all just looking for a safe place to continue where things left off. While GamerGate doesn't have a central hub I think 8chan has been functioning as a good place to host operations from and personally I'm rather fond of it.

However if you would take my advice, here's my 2 cents:
You don't have to do much or to be " really /pol/" to do a really good job as a board owner.

What I think is the most important is to allow discussions and not impose censorship.
Not being /pol/ might actually be a plus.

The things to look out for would be doxxing, child pornography or shills trying to slide threads off the board.

Other than that, if this remains a slow and productive board we can do a really good job.

I'm even wondering if you should make this board unindexed or remove the gamergate tag.

Right now this is my only goal, keep the board clean and on topic. Seems simple enough. I'm on often enough that I can keep an eye it.

I'm open to removing the tags and/or taking it off the index. People can always be referred here and the harder it is for shills to find the better.

If your schedule opens up I'll hand it off. In the mean time I'll do my best.

I've removed the tags, but we're still indexed for now. I can change that if general consensus goes that way. The only other things I've altered is that you no longer need an image with OP and you can include up to 4 images with your post. It's easier to dump screen caps directly that way if needed.
