The more I look at this stuff, the more I start to understand why this message has been so ineffective to the general public.

I wish I could take the truth in here and uncouple it from the (likely legitimate) historical grievances as well as the nationalism undertones.

I mean, really this is the major stumbling block - there isn't a significant amount of inclusive cultural identities that align with this message for it to be successful in fragmenting the monoculture that is dominated by New Left memes.

I even think a reactionary approach could work if it was based around Liberalism (ahem, of the classical sense) and was divorced of Nationalism. Particularly if it focused on fragmenting the mono-culture by divorcing traditional leftists (Labor) from the Marcuse/Frankfurt oriented New Left.

Because seriously, fuck those guys.

I mean, really, why do you think Massachusetts keeps electing plutocrats to governor even though it's a solidly "blue" state? It seems someone would clue into this eventually…
