So I've claimed this board temporarily and it looks like a number of other boards have sprung up in as well.

but there doesn't seem to be much info on mods yet. I think we are all just looking for a safe place to continue where things left off. While GamerGate doesn't have a central hub I think 8chan has been functioning as a good place to host operations from and personally I'm rather fond of it.

I know the next few hours are going to be chaos while we decide a plan of action but we have many, many options.

Like I've said, I'm not really /pol/ and not really qualified but if you want to get some people in here for ops I'm down. I think most of us are hoping the new board will be more focused once things have settled.

I'll stick around here as well if it is place to get shit done.

I'm really tempted to ask you for ownership, but I don't think I have the time to be here often.

However if you would take my advice, here's my 2 cents:
You don't have to do much or to be " really /pol/" to do a really good job as a board owner.

What I think is the most important is to allow discussions and not impose censorship.
Not being /pol/ might actually be a plus.

The things to look out for would be doxxing, child pornography or shills trying to slide threads off the board.

Other than that, if this remains a slow and productive board we can do a really good job.

I'm even wondering if you should make this board unindexed or remove the gamergate tag.

Right now this is my only goal, keep the board clean and on topic. Seems simple enough. I'm on often enough that I can keep an eye it.

I'm open to removing the tags and/or taking it off the index. People can always be referred here and the harder it is for shills to find the better.

If your schedule opens up I'll hand it off. In the mean time I'll do my best.

I've removed the tags, but we're still indexed for now. I can change that if general consensus goes that way. The only other things I've altered is that you no longer need an image with OP and you can include up to 4 images with your post. It's easier to dump screen caps directly that way if needed.
