Hello, all. In a thread on /hebe/, >>>/hebe/30163, a podcast idea got rolling, and we're probably going to go ahead and do it soon. Let us know if you have suggestions or want in on it. This thread is for laying out ideas for use in the first episode.

Some of the ideas I had already had in mind were a thread digest segment for other /phile/-related boards, a news segment (typical for podcasts), an ask a paedo segment where you can ask for advice or anything really, a t-shirt shop for which I have some ideas for designs I want to get out there.
One thing I do want to ask though, how often should we do this? I'm thinking a monthly basis is enough because paedo news is really slow but if you guys think it's necessary we could do bi-weekly. We'd just need to think of things to talk about for that 50-minute runtime, possibly more.

Lot of great ideas floating around. You should make it a live call-in show w/podcast available for download. It's pretty easy to fill 50 minutes if you take a few calls. It wouldn't take as much preparation so you could easily do the program on a weekly basis.
My idea for an outline:

>bring on guest, talk for 20 minutes
>take a call, caller interacts with guest and host for 5-10 minutes
>musical intermission 5 minutes
>second topic or guest for the remainder, a call or two toward the end

I've only just recently been able to admit to myself that I have these feelings, & have been going through all the fear/paranoia/anger for a few months now. Honestly even posting here is a pretty big deal for me. As much as I don't want to consider this, I think I've also taken on some of the self-hatred that I always thought I could argue against, but it's just so pervasive I guess I ended up taking some of it in.
Obviously I'm not the only one going through this, so if the ball gets rolling I think this podcast could do a lot of good, wish you all the best of luck

We don't talk explicitly about -phile stuff during this segment. We simply talk to normalfags and see what happens, possibly making it really funny by dropping tiny hints they'll miss.

Alright me and Bokkun had a pretty good discussion about what exactly we're gonna do in the podcast whenever we decide to livestream it (which we're pretty sure we are). We've made a pretty good outline of what to talk about. All that's left is a livestreaming test and if we get that done we'll be on air.
Our livestreaming website of choice is probably veetle.com. I already made the account but wasn't able to pass it to Bokkun before going kill for reasons I disclosed to him personally.

Really sorry guys, I haven't had time to work on editing ==AT ALL==. We had state testing recently and I've really been putting this shit off for a while.
Basically we just need who has the time and experience to edit because from what I remember the first recording session went pretty autistically. We just need someone to trim the fat out of those 2 hours that doesn't have a shit computer.
That's all that's left though.
Lately I've been working on other stuff based in webdesign and I'm hoping to get enough of an understanding in JS to get this voting system down.
Again, we'll host the audio files in Jewgle Drive, Mega, Soundcloud, Maybe tumblr (probably not), I was thinking of also hosting them myself but that would probably cause too much wear my already old hard drive. I found a neat HTML5 player that flac-chan is using that we could put on the page (whenever I decide to make it).
Livestreaming is also a big MAYBE. I don't think we've reached a point to where we sound not-autistic enough to pull this shit off live, also my soundboard is still a shit.
So basically no updates have been made purely because nothing really has been done since last time, again I mostly apologize for this myself because I should've asked for help sooner instead of trying to take this on all alone.

New editor here. I got the files for the podcast a couple of days ago and already listened through the recordings and did a rough once through to work out some of the sound issues we have and excise some of the fat. Still a lot of work ahead, but I really do expect this won't take longer than two weeks so long as there aren't any unexpected delays and I stay in close contact with tex and bokkun.

Nah, I've been working on the editing in my free time about every day this week. I'm going to finish it up tomorrow (it's almost completely done at this point) and send it back to the guys so they can review it and then upload it for everyone to listen to.
The process was more work than I had anticipated, but if we implement a few small changes in the recording process, we should be able to reduce the turnaround period on future eps.
If you want to contribute anything, that would be awesome. The more people we have on board, the more motivated I think we'll be to produce more content. Send tex an email

In thirty minutes to two hours, I'll have links. This initial release will have two options: FLAC download and MP3 download. These files are big, so as soon as Tex gets his head out of his ass, we'll figure out a streaming place or two to put it up on so that it's more convenient, and then get the FLAC version up there, too. And from that point forward, we'll offer the streaming and the downloading as options for each one.
