I've linked the op and the two images in it. Essentially we have temporary vols for this week doing pedo damage control. We need to stick to one thread obviously, but the real question is how that's going to play out.

I would assume that the increase in mods would prevent the pedo thread from being spammed to the point it's unusable.

However, one can assume that the only users that volunteered to moderate the board are antis. So for all we know they might allow spam for hours and delete any of our posts that stray outside the designated thread.

Your guess is as good as mine, but again, the new vols are only temporary, so whatever they decide to do this week, won't matter in the long run anyway.

I don't know how many newfriends have started frequenting these threads lately, but the pedos have always been here. A large factor in that is that we're able compromise like adults, and actually have logical conversations with people who have dissenting opinions about us. Another thing that drives normalfags crazy.

Outside of having lolis and being newfag chemo, our presence on /b/ reflects 8chan as a whole. HW made a site for his users, where everyone can post what they want. Whether those posts are controversial or not is irrelevant, the point is everyone has can speak freely. You can agree, you can disagree but despite you're stance, you need to have toleration for things you don't like.

In the unlikely event he does away with pedos, he immediately shoots himself in the foot, because he buckled on the one thing that separated him from moot; free speech.

Even nonpedos know this, it wouldn't be about pedo vs anti after that, /b/ would just turn into a censorship cesspool, and while that may scare away the pedos, it'll also inadvertently drive away a lot oldchums as well. The same ones that make most of the OC and the ones that aren't afraid to move on once their opinion is wrongfully silenced.

God I splerg like a faggot on this board, but I wanted to at least answer you to the best of my ability. Don't sweat it anons, we'll get through this, we always do :)

Official cunny thread on /b/ accepted us with open arms. We can still make our official pedo thread, but if a cunny thread is up we need to post there instead (since that counts as our 1 thread). The flip side to that is if there is no current thread we can just make ours and any cunny posts will be made to the pedo thread.

Personally I'm not a fan of cunny posts, but they're in the same boat that we are. So we can at least make it work for the time being.

Hotwheels isn't oblivious to the fact that a large part of the threads are for the image dumps. He just doesn't want those images to be all over his board. While a majority of posts are pedo related, he knows that the community makes original content. Disabling images would be against the free speech, considering the content will be removed if we post it anywhere else in the board.

While wouldn't exactly say that people are on our side, a large majority of the userbase seems to understand that freedom of expression includes things that you may not personally like.

As far as our threads concern, we're kind of merged with the cunny threads for the time being. They made their thread today and that essentially means we can't make ours due to HW putting emphasis on the "no multiple thread" rule.

We can post in their thread, but we're better off making our official pedo thread as soon as the cunny thread falls off the board. Mostly because the name/flairfags only post in the pedo thread, and discussions are a bit dull without the regulars occasionally popping in.

And finally, as far as moderation is concerned, HW and the vols are at least aware of why these threads have been getting out of hand. They even put up that nice new banner :) Even in the cunny thread today boyfag posts got removed by the vols and some spam in other threads around the board had been deleted too.

It seems that they do have the boards best interest in mind as they have been quick to delete spam as well as pedo posts outside our thread. Again, they're not on our side, but as of now i'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they won't just let our threads spam go unmoderated.

We'll just have to see when this thread 404's

Just hide the posts, there's some filters you can use as well. Don't get me wrong, I don't want the spam either but reporting every single spam post is more likely to get the mods to ignore us than actually moderate our thread. While it's definitely a bit of an inconvenience, most of us agreed to only report when the spam starts to destroy the thread.

You can also hit the [options] in the top right corner and filter by comment/name. Make sure to check off regex when filtering by comment.
