This won't happen for millions of reasons here is a random list why:

1) Gays want other Gays while pedos/hebe want kids not other pedos/hebes

2) Pedos are hateful people. They hate everyone gays, Blacks, women, the poor, etc. Gays are about love, pedos about hate. A majority in the US don't support hate groups. Pedos aren't likeable.

3) Pedophilia would require drastic changes to the laws compared to Gay marriage. Most pedos bitch about "age of consent" being lower however age of consent does not mean legal.

4) Culture would have to change significantly. Our culture is about "stranger danger",sex with people your own age, kids being in school poor sex education, etc.

5) Sexually active kids with adults means more unwanted pregnancies and stds. Pedos/Hebes are less trustworthy than the average adult. If adults make these mistakes or have been purposely give HIV why would adult child relationships magically be better rather than worse.

6) Pedos and Hebes don't have "true love". Even gays can be monogamous and married until death. Pedos/hebes throw away children when they get "too old" and thus leaving a child to cope with being used up. People like the idea of love forever but not love for 3 years.

7) Pedos are too afraid to come out. All of you are anonymous.

3) Education and understanding is key here. We need to more accurately know the effects our love has on children/teens, and so do their parents. Also, a focus on a child's right to choose would be beneficial. Drastic law change isn't unheard of.

4) Education and understanding. Stranger Danger is a horrible concept, and is slowly being weeded out of society anyway. Ageism, education, and children's rights are worth fixing as well, even without pedo rights.

5) Pedos/hebes are no more or less trustworthy than anyone else. The reasson adult/child relationships would be better is the inclusion of a third party (the parents). Children are expected to make mistakes, so if relationships with adults were to become legal, it's only natural that the parents be there to approve. The older the kid, the less parental supervision needed (although horny teens might need some holding back). In the case of Pedophiles, sex doesn't necessarily entail penetration, and as such has a lower (but not non-existent) chance of std spread, or pregnancy.

6) I have a couple counters. First, not all pedos/hebes are exclusively attracted to children, so there's no reason they can't fall in love for a lifetime. Second, as you age your standards change, especially when in love. Most people are not attracted to old people until they are old themselves. Finally, humans are psudo-monogamous at best. True love may or may not be a thing, however, it isn't necessarily optimal. Do we really consider a persons first boy/girl friend to be the one they should stay with for life?

7) This will change when it's less likely to ABSOLUTELY DESTROY OUR SOCIAL, AND WORK LIVES, AND THREATEN OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY. When I come out, it'll be when I'm not going to be fired for it, or attacked in the street, or ostracized by my friends and family. The physical safety is the most important to me, as I can always make more money and friends.

No one said it would be easy. But it is possible, and we shouldn't give up hope. Most importantly, we can't get discourages by potential roadblocks. We can do it, and we will.

3/4 Actually plenty of girls are being taught they can make their own money. Some are raised to even be breadwinners. However their are girls who flock to money. Women are gaining power one could be president.

Until recently pedophilia was often lumped in with homosexuality so that it could be more easily and viciously attacked. To this day some cultures are persecuted (often rightfully so) for the prevalence of arranged child marriages more than for a history of racism and violence.

That said it's slowly getting to the point where people are fully aware that most guys are attracted to girls 13-17 a lot more than they are to women over 30 (or even 20). This doesn't mean MAPs will ever be fully accepted or embraced by society. At best we'll be tolerated, the same way gays are in most places.

At least for teens, I assure allies exist. The problem is that they haven't build yet a strong sense of community and those who openly express their tastes face discrimination from their peers ("but he's so old, eewww"). It can be fixed though, they just need to come up with a subculture, something which they will be proud of belonging to despite it being looked down by the rest of society. It's not that hard, teens are well-known for being rebellious.

The thing is we know girls (many if not most) are attracted to older guys. It's the same thing with a lot of boys being attracted to older women as well. (Just look at celebrities and their fanbases.) A subculture of young people that like older people would be interesting.

Part of why MAPs are failing is false information. It makes us look dumb, alienates allies, and does not work. Do not use your own sexuality on all or most men. If anything society in the US is embracing older women more than before. Yes girls like older guys but they aren't interested in sex. For example my niece loves Justin Bieber. (Disgusting lol). So I ask what she wants to do with him. Here what her response included:

Holding hands, talking, going on dates, kissing on the checks, playing and dancing. Nothing sexual. In fact I asked if she wanted to kiss him on the lips and she said ew!

Most girls into older guys they don't want sex. Rather more emotional connection. The ones that usually have sex it is because they wanted to please the older guy, appear mature, and to emotionally connect. Girls can't separate love and sex. Unless you love her it is unfair to fuck her and run.

My take-away from this paper is that we, as MAPs, can't just come out one day and say "we like kids and we demand our rights" - we must be much more subtle than that.

One obvious thing that we might focus on is free speech. Freedom of speech has come under attack from many sides in recent years, and there is a backlash to this attack that we may be able to ride to freedom. However, alternatively, we could also use the suppression of free speech to our benefit.

It is slowly becoming socially and legally unacceptable to offend gays, black people, immigrants, homeless people, women, and pretty much any kind of under-privileged person. Western culture has long loved the underdog, and now hate-speech laws have been created to legally protect certain attributes from ridicule. We really need to get attraction-to-children on one these lists of protected attributes. This can perhaps be done by making sure that having a preferential attraction to children is seen as a valid sexual orientation, and then using the same laws that the gays have got enacted to protect themselves, to protect us.

Once our sexuality is legally protected, we will be able to sue the shit out of people that are discriminating against us and scare them into promoting our agenda. Just like the gays did.

The problem is that unlike the gays your sexuality doesn't involve other MAP rather it involves children that must be sexually interested in adults.

Thus comparing yourself to gays is only going to stall progression.

You have to get parents involved. Have them say that guardians should create the age of consent not the government. I'd Start there. I know religious people would support this. Market it to them.
