>Would you marry or date a former prostitute?
Possibly. The only thing I know about them is that they used to be a prostitute, so I don't know anything. I'd make sure to know if she has STD/STI's before we had sex, though. But I do that with whoever I have sex with.
>Do you respect prostitutes?
As an occupation? Not generally. But then again, I don't respect janitors or fry-cooks either, because those aren't prestigious jobs that require huge amounts of skill or training. Could I respect and individual prostitute? Sure, if they're respectable. I don't judge people by their job very often.
>Would you became a prostitute yourself?
I couldn't if I tried. But, assuming the opportunity arose, sure. For a guy it's not as easy, but it's still good money for simple work. I wouldn't try to make a career out of it though, because there's no path there.
>Would you want children to become prostitutes?
No. There's nothing wrong with prostitution, but children are easily swayed in their thinking. With a bad client or two they could end up seeing themselves as a piece of meat, rather than beautiful people selling a fun experience. Also, they're very trusting, so they'd be at higher risk for getting a disease.
>Would you support your daughter. Being a prostitute?
I'd support my daughter with almost anything. I'd try to convince her not to, depending on age, but ultimately it's her choice. I'd have to meet whoever put the idea in her head though, because it's probable that they aren't looking out for her best interest.
>Would you want a prostitute coming in in career day telling kids to think about being a prostitute?
No more than I'd want the kid behind the register at McDonalds doing so. I don't want people influencing kids to get jobs that don't go anywhere.
>Why is paying for sex a good thing?
Because some people are either unable to talk to and seduce women, or they don't care for the game, and want to cut to the chase. Some women like sex and are good at it, so why shouldn't they have the option of monetizing that? Others have bills and things building up and need a lot of money fast. People are willing to pay for sex, why not let them? As for child prostitutes, really, the idea shouldn't even enter their minds, unless someone wanted to exploit it, which means that the most likely scenario is immoral because they're being manipulated. In the event that they came to the conclusion themselves, I think the most you can do is explain the good and the bad in detail, so that they can make the decision with all the facts. Also, if you care for them, you'd probably want to screen their customers, to make sure they're not going to get hurt. I couldn't take away their freedom of choice, that goes against my nature. But I can help ensure that choice is made from a place of knowledge, and that it doesn't negatively impact them too much, if it does at all.
