Yeah I'm new to 8chan too (first time posting) I am an older teen male. That's nice, but just to add a word of caution, you might want to be at least a little bit carefull, though.

TOR is mostly great - for its purposes, but IMHO it tries to do too much and I don't feel good about some of its design choices. Also I don't like the fact that when you raise issues with the director or developers, they get defensive. To me that signals insecurity, and that I don't want in a network that I have to place my trust in.

Better to use freenet, then, at least the devs there are upfront about it not being 100% secure.

VirtualBox is free and easily downloadable, it can be found here: http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/virtualization/virtualbox/overview/index.html

It hardly takes you an hour just to download it and set up a VM.

Timestamps aren't the most reliable way of proving someone's authenticity, written text can easily be faked and even the picture can be taken from somewhere else. If you're willing to give proof, you should record a video with sound where you read someone's post aloud. But even if you're an undercover cop, people here should be smart enough to not do anything stupid.
