Does starting sentences with "i feel like" or "i think" change anything about the validity of the sentence?

e36221 No.2599

>>2597

Well, it shows that what you're about to say is simply your opinion or stance on a certain matter. So, the validity of the statement would change since you're showing it to be purely subjective.

076416 No.2600

Imo, imo changes it from an absolute.

a1d951 No.2622

It can either mean that you want to downplay your conviction in the matter, showing that you have an open mind, or you could try to portray the issue as subjective. Depends on the context.

9dbc15 No.2625

Saying "you have shit taste" and "I think you have shit taste" is basically the same, because there is no such thing as objectively shit taste except yours, so stating "I think" is redundant.
