What did you expect? Its mist popular topics bare free will, basic empiricism, pop-science, Popperian Phil of Sci, mind body dualism etc. The place has some knowledgeable people, but it's mostly intro to analytic philosophy. I post links to stuff on Hegel or Marx once in a while and I actually get down votes lol.

/r/academicphilosophy is an analytic shithole for people showing off their published hair splitting garbage on problems nobody actually cares about nor that matter.

It's supposed to be about discussing articles. This rarely happens, and when it does the most popular analytic opinions are upvoted and thrbrest ignored or down voted. If you wantbto practice argumentation it's good to inject yourself in a discussion andnjoin in the nitpick.

/askphilosophy is actually good for questions. I post once in a while and my being slightly wrong sometimes prompts someone who gave a short quip answer to reply with a really interesting essay teaching me something.

There are plenty of subreddits like this board full of people who don't know anything coming in to ask questions they have not even understood.

Philosophy forums just aren't interesting for someone like me who is interested in meta topics and trabscendental/genealogical questions. Very few people actually know much about Kant's system and how revolutionary his ontological turn was.

I really doubt it, unfortunately. Some underground forums that haven't been exposed to cancer maybe but I can't think of any

I've used the search function to find some pretty good videos about philosophy. /r/lectures has some as well.

I don't bother to read the discussions, they're just not that interesting or enlightening. The best posts about philosophy on reddit happen off the philosophy board (just like 4chan). Again, you have to use the search function to find them.
