Good thing boards can't die anymore. Although you don't really need a board like this for a /vp/ substitute, it's here. I actually go here more than halfchan nowadays anyway, it's probably why I still posted here a bit. Really though, if you prefer halfchan, no one is stopping you from going back. Hell, the only real reason that you'd even want to come here anyway is the animators and the non-existant lewd Pokegirl threads (seriously, has no one thought that would be a good thing to have?). Or some anons could make some Pokemon related webums with sound. I don't even play much Pokemon nowadays anyway, I personally don't know why I keep coming back.

It's slow because no one is advertising right now. The animation thread is doing well, and that's enough to serve the purpose of the board: to continue things that are no longer allowed on /vp/. Yes, I wish I could bring in other anons who want to continue their banned content, but again, advertising is slow. Word does get around though.

And it's not bumped by furfags, theres like one thread like that, along with other non furry threads being bumped. That claim is bullshit.

When this board started it was heavily advertised by the owner on both /vp/ & /poke/ as being the "free" Pokémon board that the fans here & on halfchan need, yet many came & went & the board is still slow save for 1 particular thread. I can't see any reason behind this other than the terrible policies of this board to be honest.

Advertizing is largely ignored on 4chan no matter what it is, and people are used to fast or relatively fast board speed. Of the few that would bother to check it out in the first place, most would leave when they saw how slow the board is and for this reason it will take a long time, if it happens at all, to reach the speed at which they consider "acceptable." But nah, it's got to just be the lax rules, right dipshit?

I somehow stumbled upon this board through reading the top banlist page looking for someone else. I've never even heard of /poke/ before and I browse /vp/ on the daily. I do like porn and waifu threads so I might stay for a while, try to add positively to the board. If I do happen to like it, I'll probably do some advertising campaign like I did for 4chon back in the day. People also used my same images when we migrated to 8chan and now we're on the top boards list.

Also board owner, is the captcha really necessary? A number of the top boards don't have it and do fine without it. I don't think this place has enough traffic to warrant a verification, plus it is very offputting, especially to new users wanting to post. It's very hard to read some of the letters and it changes too often. If you don't have a horrific cp spam issue, please remove it.
