Would it work? Fuck up the other guy's accuracy, raise your evasiveness, give 'em paralysis and confusion and really slowly eat away at their health.
Meanwhile they're missing all the fucking time, hitting themselves and being unable to move due to paralysis otherwise. Every time they do actually hit, you've got fucking leftovers anyway.
