How did such a shit movie get to happen?
>replaces the original mewtwo and his storyline for no reason without even trying to improve it, nothing makes sense anymore
>mewtwo goes through the same shit he already got over in the first movie and after
>shitty rehash of movie 1 morals in almost exact the same way "this fighten is pointlees we all belung here" and "im gonna jump in the middle of your fire", except less epic and with less emotional focus
>pseudo-kills everyone at some point for the sake of it, as if it's supposed to make it more emotional
>epic "everyone unites together" scenes… with a couple handfuls of pokemon
>the entire movie is in a small bubble of a couple characters in a tiny area
>absolute shit demise "if the power goes out the city will explode for no reason!"
>the movie never even explains what the genesect are trying to achieve in the park, never explains the red genesect besides some implied leader/controller thing, and never explains how the other genesect suddenly gained power to defy him out of nowhere, and never even touched the subject that mewtwo can mega evolve besides "it just changed!" which was immediately dismissed
