Self defense, the reason is to defend your self. guns make that pretty simple and saves your life quicker than calling the police while you helplessly get murdered waiting for them to arrive because you where to slower than a bullet. The main problem occurs when not everyone has a means to defend them self. Even if there where no guns there would be swords, if no swords then rocks, if no rocks then fists and broken necks. Guns aren't the issue people are. How do you protect the weak? Give them guns. But they could just hire personal body guards! The poor can't afford body guards, plus old guns are way cheaper.

On another note...

What if it were illegal to defend your self from major bodily harm?

Example: Guy comes at you with a knife to murder you and there's nothing you legally can do about it.

Option 1: You kill the bastard with a knife you somehow obtained with such laws, but go to jail for the rest of your life!

Option 2: You somehow don't get killed and knock the guy out, you still go to jail by the way (self defense).

Option 3: You run away and live. (You are still defending your self by preserving your life. Guess what you still to go to jail.)

Option 4: Be a good little citizen and DIE, but don't go to jail cause you are dead!

The fact is that I can't be an expert on every subject, so instead I just trust people who are the experts in their fields. And literally almost all WWII historians agree that the Holocaust, happened, so I just go with their opinion on the subject. Sorry, I know a lot of people on this site don't believe it happened.

Yeah. The argument I've heard from "redpills" is that that was the result of a typhus outbreak at the time, which resulted in most deaths at these camps.

Interesting theory except for one major flaw: from what I can tell no where else in central Europe looked like the skinny sickly people found in the camps. If it really was typhus, it's strange that it ONLY struck the concentration camps

I'll play the devil's advocate here, I personally don't agree with this but, it's not so strange if they where "quarantine" camps. Also they could have not succeeded in "curing" people and decided to kill them off to stop the spread of typhus or whatever it is that they had. Can you live with the disputed fact that the Nazis were all a bunch of racists? Some people can't and I don't blame them, the world's a scary place.

It helps a lot but I really hope I don't get addicted. I'm on 15mg twice a day right now, but I'd like to get it upped to 15mg three times a day.
