you can't be proved wrong, the planet will eventually be consumed by our sun so we have to leave eventually. As for it being decided in THIS century i'm not so certain. certainly if we can't guarantee a way out that bodes ill, but it doesn't mean we won't stumble into the technology we would require.

Depending on what you mean by "proof" - "If were to flip a million coins now, at least one would be heads" requires no evidence, because it has a probability of 1-2^10^6 ~ 1.

The Jews had every right to be pissed about Council giving the Worlds to Malaysia back then in Berlin because the only way to get Israeli Debaters into Malaysia was this illegal creepy and really dangerous way so it's completely understandable that they are pissed about this. In fact they have every right to be pissed about this because they're one of the main Circuits in the World - it's not like fucking Zimbabwe which literally has no impact to debating at all.

It all depends on which age supes came from. If we're talking silver age, it's game over at the start. Goku's going down no matter what. Supe's is pretty much unlimited in silver. however, golden and pre-52 are two entirely different stories. I'd say Goku would wreck Golden, be demolished by silver, be on equal footing with bronze, eventually defeat pre-crisis, and be on just slightly uneven grounds with post-crisis SM.
