So how do you think the pokemon world works? The only rule is you can't tell people that their views are wrong.

I have too many views to put all in one place. Let's just say I take a very realistic view, or at least as realistic as a fantasy world can get. (you'd be surprised) I heavily emphasize equality between humans and pokemon. The only difference between them is that humans want to manipulate nature and pokemon simply live with it.

I'd hazard a guess that while pokémon are an integrated part of nearly every aspect of society, pokémon training and battling is actually much less of a big deal than the games present it to be. We're just given a distorted view of it due to experiencing said world through the eyes of a kid trying to go pro. I guess pokémon training and battling is actually more like gaming in our world: plenty of casuals who've dabbled in it at a young age and still occasionally give it a shot as a pastime, a vibrant subculture heavily invested in it but still with jobs and a life outside of it, and a very small elite who manage to make a living out of it and enjoy great popularity within the subculture but aren't really known outside of it.

I'd like to further add to your theory with mine

In mine, the E4 is an actual government role… In the handful of regions with Pokemon battles. Many don't have battles (animal rights or something) and a fair few regions may not even have Pokemon (Sometimes the strongest is not the most suited to survival. Pokemon likrly have high energy requirements and likely were out competed early on (evolutionarily early) by animals who could survive in the more barren areas

Sans of course ones like Pidgey, Rattata, Magikarp - Ones that pretty much are nothing more than really hardy animals themselves

Is not like gaming, is that world's Soccer ( football)

Gaming is no where near to even Lacrosse or Ass-ball.

To add to your teory, I guess the pokemon world is way less densely populated than earth…. I think that even whit pokemon around, at least the human part of the pokemon world would be quite easy to conquer by most evil fictional armies whit moderate technology, if legendary pokemon wont intervene, only the criminal organizations have some weaponry.
