Let's change that.

Basically, we just talk about Glitch Pokémon, various glitches, etc.

Anyway, I've been trying to get a Mew through the Trainer Fly glitch.

Keep getting fucking Mankey.

I think a trainer in Misty's gym allows to get Mew, though that might just be in Yellow.

Speaking of Yellow, pic related is probably my favorite one, especially with its cry.

Also, anyone ever mess with the decamarks in Gen 3? There was like hundreds of them with various stats, moves, etc. I remember one time discovering one in FireRed whose cry was Charizard's in reverse. I threw it in the daycare for whatever reason, and ended up fucking up my save hilariously.

What's your favorite glitchmon, /poke/? Pic related has to be mine.

>Can use Clamp with Gen 1's wrapping mechanics
It's a pretty great mon that I liked to use whenever I battled others with glitches.

There were some threads on glitchcity forums about it. You can use various glitches to get decamarks which have moves that can instantly win battles. You can also (theoretically) execute arbitrary code. It's theoretical due to people not having found one that they can make and use reliably to execute code afaik.

Never managed to get moves that crazy (or working much at all really) in my random hunts. Did discover a one use move that maximized speed though.

Loved to experiment with severe corruption. With enough you start triggering Bad EGGs and placeholders in your box. This leads to a lot of fun exploits, such as battling with no pokemon, triggering battles using eggs, causing horribly glitched pokemon with green/red palettes to show up, and pic related. Gen 1 and 3 had the funnest glitches IMO.

I also used to manipulate specific GS codes for various results: the max stats code when fucked with often completely destroyed saves. I've caused it to barf glitched data in my PC box, my house, and Pokedex, triggered Safari mode in Fire Red, and even caused a flash cave effect. Wish I had the notes I took on it before…

Haven't checked GCF in forever, though I assume it's as inactive as ever ;_;

Anyone know about the Celebi Egg glitch? I forget the exact idea, but essentially through creating faulty clones and saving with parents in the day care, you could eventually receive an egg of any pokemon. Or you could morph pokemon and corrupt everything if you weren't careful, which I was more prone to do…
