What would you say is the most unique Pokémon team in Pokémon Red/Blue? As a kid I was very typical with choosing Charmander as my starter, catching and training a caterpie and pidgey, Snorlax and Lapras were cool as well, and Dugtrio was useful because of being a level 30 in a level 20 area. So most of the time that ended up being my team. Now when I replay the game (like I'm doing right now), I always try to go for a unique team.

So what would you call the most unique team in Pokémon Red/Blue?

Given that most people who played the game tend to have a team that has 4-5 members that you can catch within the first few hours of the game - having multiple 'endgame' mons in your team automatically makes it unique.

Rapidash, Rhydon, Exeggutor, Dodrio Cloyster…

If you want to have a truly unique team, you should avoid

>the starters

>the early-route mons ("early" meaning up to and including Mt. Moon)
>the legendaries or fixed pokes

I'd say endgame or Safari mons can make a rather unique team. I'd suggest that :

>Rhydon

>Exeggutor
>Kangaskhan
>Starmie / Seadra / Poliwrath
>Rapidash / Magmar
>Magneton / Electabuzz
