I would love an Emerald remake. Though I seriously doubt that there will be one. They have only ever remade two games per generation before. Perhaps they will incorporate some Emerald stuff (hopefully the battle frontier) into Pokemon Z. Emerald is my favorite of all pokemon games. I still have not beaten the Battle Frontier in my 10 year old save.

The BF is not coming, never ever. Medusa and Shiggyru explicitly said, when asked about its absence in ORAS, that they decided it was too much work and the players play casually anyway…

Why am I not surprised? You were expecting an ~~easier~~ casualized version of it in the purely casual game that is ORAS so you can beat it, no? Casualizing it would have defeated its purpose, so they teased it with a nostalgiaboner-inducing replica and put the Maison in its place, where you can do gimmicky battles won with luck and hax.
