Seriously, I kept catching and raising pokemon just because I liked them and their moves and abilities so much. They have a lot of character.

Pokemon on ice is bugged. When I stop moving they appear right on top of me or in another case, on the other side of the rock near me. I suggest detecting that if the player is standing on an ice tile at all, the pokemon will never be able to appear, it seems right now you have it set to reappear if not moving.

Dev here, we know: pe: doesn't support following pokemon on on ice without the animation fucking up so we just have em poof.
As far as the overlapping thing, there's a bug report tool on the demo page of the wiki, i'd make a report about that there along with your suggested fix so our programmers will see it.

I just used a potion, there didn't seem to be an animation/sound associated, my pokemon just got the health.
1bfbb0 No.594
>>593
That demo just didn't have an animation. I think we've added one now. You might have noticed many of the moves don't have animations, borrow from other moves or are just plain placeholders.

No sound effect, I think having a sound effect for using a potion should be in the game.
>these god damn minaracs that all know flash
You've really captured the spirit of pokemon now.

Don't forget all the capigs and pebliosa that know sand attack. Remember. This game isn't intended to be easy. Accuracy lowering moves are a way for us to encourage using multiple pokemon, since a single mon would get blasted by accuracy debuffing.

known glitch, it's because you slide under a walkable path. Not a lot we can do other than make that path not walkable.

I think it would be a good idea to have a set of pokeballs under or above the opponents hp bar showing the number of pokemon the opponent has in total.

I think I saw safari zone mentioned for this in the region. Is there any chance of getting the customizable safari that HGSS had in this?
6df591 No.610
>>608
I haven't played HGSS (I tapped out after platinum and only got back in at XY) so you are gonna have to describe it for me.
But, my guess would be no.
d071aa No.611
>>610
IIRC there were 9 square zones of the safari laid out as
X X X
You could change the type of each zone to be any of stuff like snowy/desert/forest/etc, which would have different pokemon then be found in them. You could also place objects like chairs? and furniture in zones, which led to me trying to make one zone feel like a secret base. It was both practical (catching pokemon) and aesthetic (customizable). Best safari in any game yet.
6df591 No.612
>>611
I've asked our programmers similar questions about secret bases or a champion's chamber you could customize, and while I wasn't given an outright no, I was given the implication it'd be a fuck ton of work that they don't think is worth it.
So probably not, but i'll ask for you.
d071aa No.613
>>612
To be honest, I'll be perfectly content if you can put in a battle frontier or other post game content on the level of Emerald. That's where I got 100 extra hours of playtime in emerald. I understand if secret bases and a customization safari aren't possible. Thanks though.
2ff9e0 No.614
>>604
That's not the reason, the trigger is battles though from the looks of it.
We could attempt to fix it but is it really even worth it?
>>608
>wanting the 2nd worst kind of safari zone
but really that level of customization, just like secret bases, isn't something we've got readily coded so it's not a high priority sorry
d071aa No.615
>>614
I'm also fine with a handcrafted safari zone with cool little areas in it like emeralds.

we certainly want a battle frontier (all of us lament it's absence in XY and ORAS), but obviously the main game is our priority. If we haven't managed to murdered each other by the time the main game is done, we'll for sure get a battle frontier in, if not a whole post game plot arc a la platnium/XY looker stuff/delta episode on top of that.
>>616
we already have an ethnic unofficial theme song that plays in our heads incessantly, sorry anon, but it's video related; urobos is based on latin america after all

I say focus on the bulk of the full game that can be done, and if you can put in extra effort later to add secret bases, it would be great.

6df591 No.623
>>622
Most GF ghost mons have very low HP, even the ones with good defenses.
PS: he's my bro too
2701c0 No.624
>>623
His defenses aren't particularly high though, and that HP pretty much kills his usefullness in a lv100 battle complex.
6df591 No.625
>>624
His SPD is bulky enough, and it makes him a great user of pain split. I've used him in pretty much all of my battles in our test showdown server to good extent (which, obviously, is max IVs lvl 100 all egg/tutor/tm moves available), and while I can into competitive enough to not fall on my face, i'm not great, and I managed to still do well with him against the balance/stats side of the dev team in those matches a good amount of the time, and a lot of them do into competitive a lot.
I'll try to see if I can make webm's of youtube videos of a few of the matches, but the gist of it is he's in the equivalent of low OU/ high UU. The fact he has the acid rain version of drizzle/drought/sand stream doesn't hurt. Anyways, our goal with balancing is in game first, competitive second.
speaking of the server, it's linked in the OP, though I don't much of anybody will be on.

Just double checked with one of main balance guy and he basically said what I said: He's not top OU material but he's still in the sage equivalent of OU and is usable competitively to a pretty good degree
