you know, looking back i realized i had a sickness induced halucination about the eclipse 3 or so years ago, the night middle school ended (fresh outta highschool, 18). it was a scene of the eclipse, the corona a firey red. lasted about 7 seconds, all the while a deep and imposing voice spoke to me. course what he said i soon immediately forgot, and i was so fucking out of my mind i thought it was a demonic frying pan, so i didnt think much of it at the time.
This was followed by an auditory hallucination of a chorus of what i think were kids giggling like in ghost stories that just put me off and pretty much led to sleepless night. next morning i was driven to Mckay Dee hospital, had to be wheelchaired in the door.
Now that i think about it the sickness itself was strange. I was in the hospital for a week, spnt the first 3 days pretty much paralyzed, severely dehydrated, and with swollen lymph nodes in the neck. doc narrowed it down to richters disease, tick bites, or some other 3rd thing that was a 3 letter acronym. they took about 8 blood vials and 16 blood cultures all the while, give or take.
